Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to set anything up?

No. The moment you add the bot, the /breakpoint stats and /breakpoint fantasy commands work in any channel, for anyone. Only the optional daily picks feed needs a channel — turn it on with /breakpoint alerts #channel.

What permissions does it need?

Just three: View Channel, Send Messages, and Embed Links. No message-reading, no member data, nothing else.

Why does the bot show as offline?

That's normal. breakPoint uses Discord's HTTP interactions rather than a persistent gateway connection, so it appears offline but still responds to every command and posts picks.

Which players are covered?

Recently active ATP & WTA players in the current tracked season. If a lookup returns no data, that player is outside the current window.
